Charlyn C Elliott M.F.A
Charlyn C. Elliott is an accomplished Digital Media and Marketing professional who works with business owners to strategize branding and promotion initiatives. She is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Elliott by Design which bridges the gap between business strategy and artistic vision. Her many years of experience allow her to offer clients a personalized marketing plan designed to highlight each company’s mission.
In February 2018 Charlyn launched The League of Professional Women which is an organization of like-minded women set out to empower, encourage, and elevate other women business owners through networking and relationship building. In May 2018, Charlyn is also the creator of the Strictly Business television show, a platform to discuss the challenges and triumphs of being a woman entrepreneur, and the latest business Trends.
Charlyn is a committed advocate of literacy, with a focus on youth. She is a contributing author of The Journey of a Teenage Mother; additionally, Charlyn assisted her five-year-old daughter, Taleah Mor, in authoring her first book, Puppy Love, which garnered much praise. The mother-daughter team are developing city-wide reading programs to help promote literacy in urban communities.
Merging her commitment to family with her professional endeavors, has allowed Charlyn to host Mommy and Me tea parties, as well as Mother-Son and Father-Daughter dances. She has also hosted Unplugged events which showcase the musical talents of local artists. Charlyn is the recipient of the 2016 Roc Award for “Best Black Business of the Year.”
Charlyn’s community service includes being an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Theta Alpha Zeta Chapter, where she focuses on community service and empowering youth. She is the interim Co-Chair of the Black Women’s Leadership Forum (BWLF).
Charlyn has an MFA in Media Design, a BS in Organizational Management, an AS in Business Administration, and a diploma in Graphic Arts and Web Design. Charlyn is a wife and mother of four.
